There is a restaurant with excellent French cuisine using all local produce; a well-stocked bar for the thirsty, a library for those of more literary tastes and even a snooker table. There is plenty for everyone to do from walking, sailing and riding to swimming in our indoor-heated swimming pool with a sauna and jacuzzi, playing croquet, table tennis, lazing in the garden with a good book or tennis on the grass court.

Directions
Going south west by car - Take the Dartington/Totnes turning off of the a38 dual carriageway, 22 miles before Plymouth. Go through Dartington, following the signs to Totnes. At the first set of traffic lights coming into Totnes, turn right towards Kingsbridge, and left 1 mile up the hill at a sign to Cornworthy and Ashprington. Turn right after 1.5 miles at the sign to Tuckenhay and Bow Bridge. Drive through Tuckenhay and after 2 miles, turn right at the ruin (behind a high hedge), signposted to Dittisham and East Cornworthy. Drive on for 2 miles, descending a steep hill and 100 yards after small hump bridge, turn right where the hotel is signposted. From Plymouth or Dartmouth - Turn off at the Sportsmans Arms and drive through Dittisham, keeping the Post Office & Red Lion pub on your right. After a mile, turn left up the second lane, signposted to Fingals. By train - There is a regular service from Paddington to Totnes.
